A special shout out for my BABI.

HAPPY 19TH BIRTHDAY!!!!

CRYSTAL CHOW KEET YAN.

She is more than I can ever ask for. Our friendship is priceless. And I mean those words dearly. She’s in the midst of battling with her finals. Although I can’t wait for it to over soon so I’ll get to have lunches with her like how we used to. Nevertheless, the close bonding is always there. And for that I’m grateful.

She is my babi

Regrets?

You can't change what has been said.
You can't change what has been done.

Do you call it regret, sorrow, repentance? Never take things for granted. It is a very common advice to everyone. Somehow people still regret their actions due to taking things for granted. The only thing to do to repent is to sincerely say,I'm sorry and learn from mistakes.

Regret is remembering someone who meant so much to you and remembering how you did them wrong. There’s a sad soul I came upon that doesn’t learn from it instead still think he’s right. All the best for him in life. I’d be grateful for not knowing the person at all

On the playlist: David Cook - Avalanche

Hi. I didn’t MIA. The internet failed me. Haha. At first I thought it was the connection till I test & test it was actually the modem. Urgh. So let me refresh. I’ve been working, working and working. Yeah that’s about it. Lol.

I actually had a lot of fun during work. Though the work schedule can be rather tight but time passes really fast when im working for red bull! Maybe my working partners are crazy! If you work with people like Mun & Tara you find yourself doing the wackiest stuff. Haha.

We sampled students, working men and women, taxi drivers and what not. Working as a red bull promoter isn’t easy. You gotta have strong product knowledge. I’m still working on it =P We meet different kinds of people everyday, ranging from not so friendly to friendly people. Sometimes if you’re not interested, a wave of hand it’s more than it takes to be nice

IMG_2299

Mun never failed to pose for the camera. haha

IMG_2321

Ahah, doing trade sampling for the day. Smtg like market observation

Our Red Bull Car. The mini cooper is cuter

Besides working, I’m still catching up with my never-ending series, Gem of life. American Idol Season 8! Ahhh whatever it is, nothing beats the bunch of people in the last season. David Cook is still the best! Check out all the songs in David Cook’s latest single. He gives me chills. Each and every song baby!

Adam Lambert! Hmm. Very unique on its own.

I can predict he will go far...

Fans of Adam Lambert rawr!

Anyways, the last place I visited in Sydney was the Coogee to Bondi Walk. It was a very last minute plan but it turned out great :D I went with my sis. The rest of them had been there heaps of times! It was indeed a coastal walk. The pathway from Coogee beach to Bondi was build specially for that. Along the way, we passed by a few beaches, most of it for sunbathing purposes only. lol

We went there early in the morning and we saw lots of people jogging or bringing their pets for a walk. We were busy taking pictures. Haha. Weather was great that day hence we decided to go for a swim at Bondi beach. Ky met up with us there. Hurricanes for lunch with sis! I missed hurricanes much. They sell the best pork ribs ever. Goshness. It just tastes so good!

The road super steep balls. crazyness.

This time around we did not sit at the bench by the roadside but a more tranquil place, the beach. Lol. Overall Bondi Beach is just too overrated. The waves were just okay. I still like Palm Beach best! But, there is a deal. We must go with the right company. LOL. Right ky?

On the playlist: Jason Collett - Not over you

One day at a time

I’ve been complaining and ranting to Jean about how bored I can get at home! Although the radiating sun did make me feel like staying home at times however, doing unproductive things is turning me into a lazy person. That explains the desperateness in looking for a job. I love pasting sticky notes in front of my study desk as it serves as a reminder for me to accomplish certain tasks in a day. It works though! :D

After 2 weeks, finally Redbull called me in for interview! I got it and I’m starting work next week. Well, according to schedule I do need to work on a weekly basis so I still have free days in a week. I’m pretty excited to start work as I get to go around places to sample and participate in events if possible!

Just when I thought that everything is perfect, here comes my manager calling me to work for part time in Skinfood! I was quite reluctant at first but it’s not a very bad idea as I get to keep myself occupied and earn more $$. Moreover, I had a great time working in Skinfood 2 years back  Whenever there’s no customer, I would play around with the shades of eye shadow colours. Haha. Anyways, I’ve got nothing to complain anymore as I’ll be busy working this week onwards! Great

Connection has been really really slow these days -_-  Xanga is the slowest when uploading pictures. All Xangarians agree? Thank goodness streamyx fixed the problem right away! So here are the pictures taken during our 6 hours of bush+coastal+scenic walking at the North Head Manly Walk! First we took a ferry to Manly Beach but sadly we did not spend much time at Manly. Had lunch there with the infamous Thai food! Then we headed straight for the walk which worn us out the end of the day. We walked while referring to the map. We might get lost though. Haha. But we didn’t lah eventually.

It was pretty hot that day you know! So we were all like charcoal after that walk. Lol. I do enjoy coastal walk but this one was really tiring. It’s not all about scenic views along the way but also a bit of bush walking and jungle trekking. We walked, we climbed over rocks and going uphill and downhill  However, along our way, we cracked silly jokes and talked as much craps to kill time. When we finally reached to the end of the walk, only that we realized we missed the last bus at the stop T.T

We’ve got no choice but to walk to the nearest stop to see if there are any busses. We weren’t completely unlucky though. We walked about 20 minutes to the next stop and we got into the bus with a sigh of relieve. Haha. Overall it was a fun filled activity with the bunch of them as everyone could make it!

On a completely random note, I missed playing pool with my partner in crime, Ting Kai Yuan.

Haha. Most of the time, while waiting for the Grill Chicken, we play pool! lol

Yeah apparently the Griller is at Level 9! So we gotta grill it upstairs! Not much of a hassle though.

There's a TV there too. haha

Something I said.

Let’s see. What coincides with the title above? Was it something I said to you? Or was it something that we can’t work through? I never knew that you could choose to love someone then change your mind. Oh well, everything happens for a reason. What made me contemplate towards the same question again and again is why 2 people from two different worlds can’t get along? Doesn’t the opposite attract? What possible barriers could it be.. Communication & language obstruction or how about the disparate personalities and interest?

As for what I think, nothing is impossible. 2 people from different worlds can get along if only both strive towards overcoming the insignificant barriers. I recognize one important fact. It takes both to clap. If only one think so, whatever things wouldn’t work. How sad huh? So I’m still going to keep learning and experience new things. Sometimes yes it sucks when you face a bad experience, whether or not I shall not regret my actions.

I cooked again today. As supper for me and my dad! I know its bad to take late night supper hence, I’m trying to cut down as much as possible now  Life is like cooking. Ooh what a weird statement right? Then again think about it vigilantly..Once you fail it the first time, keep trying till you get it! It’s all about trial and error. If you give up that easily, you can’t achieve the results.

I had a great night with my girls on my birthday! They made it a memorable one for me! It doesn’t matter where the location is; great company is the key of it. Also thanks to everyone who wished me on facebook, phonecalls and messages! Many many thank you!!

Happy 19th bday to me! =P

Thinking of you.

I would really succumb to Katy Perry as I thought she could only do Hot & Cold.

Thinking of you blew me right away. I totally lost interest in blogging these days due to my deliberation in digging for alt rock music. Movies were put aside too. I’ve been acting weird this month. Stuffs I don’t see myself doing it, I did it. I can see myself indulging in cooking as well. Oh boy, the month of February is like kicking start a brand new person.

How did I spend my Valentine? Sending off a good friend of mine. I’m sure everyone had an impact after he left. No doubt he’s been with us throughout high school and for me college times as well. Hearing his never-ending scandalous stories definitely made me crave for more whenever he beeps me. All in all, I hope he will enjoy Melbourne so much as I did in Sydney :D Same goes to the girl who sits beside me for the whole year in College Ms Yoong May May who has left for Melbourne too

Friendship is never-ending. Although you haven’t been speaking to your friend for a year or so, a night of stay over could replace the absent days. I’m grateful that I spent that night hearing her out and also sharing bits and pieces of my interesting happenings as well  Nothing has changed. Han Choong is still the loudest in the group and as usual can’t stop but to play with people’s fats. Happy Belated Choong. Lol

The Gem of Life is super draggy -__- 80 episodes! Sometimes I wished it was only half of it! That will make the story out of the ordinary. Anyways, I’ve been filling up my post with Sydney pics. This post wouldn’t be an exception. On a Sunday morning, we headed to the Sydney Fish Market. Since I’m a seafood lover, how early also I will drag myself up! Oysters and Lobsters seem to be the main magnetism there. It is very pricey but the seafood tasted fresh nonetheless.

The rest of the days, we went for a day out at the beach again! That’s what everyone does during Summer! We decided on Dee Why beach. No idea why it’s called as ‘Dee Why’ but the beach was just okay for me. I guess surfers frequent there due to their powerful waves. This time around, we get everything prepared like the beach towels, more and more food plus the Mini Umbrella where Sai Hou quoted ‘looks like we open gerai lar’ LOL.
